Manyire Primary School, Tanzania

Shobdon Primary is proud to be partnered with Manyire Primary School in Tanzania as part of the British Council projects of Connecting Classrooms.

Accessing the Global Learning programme, the two schools will work collaboratively exploring issues that shape our world.

The current project commencing in January 2020 is Zero Waste where both schools will examine in detail, ways in which the wider school communities can consider reducing waste.

Mrs Morgan had the opportunity to visit Manyire Primary School in February 2020 and has returned with many happy adventures, photographs and news from our link school in Tanzania. A reciprocal visit is planned for the June 2020.
