Welcome to the Friends of Luston School - FLSA

 The Friends of Luston School Association (FSLA) aims to raise funds for the benefit of the children and school through organising enjoyable social events.

Who are we?

We are a group of parents, carers and community members who work together to plan and run fundraising events throughout the school year. We also host fun activities for the children such as school discos.

Why do we need to fundraise?

As school budgets become ever more squeezed, fundraising has become even more essential for funding things such as bus travel for swimming, subsidising school trips, buying books and other classroom equipment, supporting our Forest School and much more. Every child at Luston School benefits from the funds that FSLA raise!

Recent fundraising events we have helped fund:

• Play equipment in the school playground.
• Subsidising the travel costs for all the children to participate in swimming lessons.
  
• Subsidised school trips
• Visiting Pantomime
• Activity days including 'The History Man', hands on Science, and Chinese New Year

How can I become involved?

 Anyone with connections to the school is welcome to come along to meetings and to get involved, whether contirbuting ideas, helping to organise fundraising, or advertising events - all help is appreciated.
